Fire Safety is a very serious issue. We learnt all about the hazards that can be around our house and how to make them safe. We also learnt about the importance of testing our smoke alarms every week in our house. As part of our lesson about fire safety we got to try on a REAL fire helmet. We chatted about the important work that the fire department do to help us in the event of an emergency and what to do ourselves in the event of a fire.
